Please note

This year the registration payment is not managed within PaperCept. PaperCept System is only used for paper upload. The registration fee can be paid by using the Online Registration Form which is available by selecting "Registration" from the left hand side menu or "Online Registration" from the blue horizontal menu at the top. You do not need to pay the registration fee before paper upload.


Papers must be submitted in PDF form according to the IFAC requirements. These can be found at www.ifac-control.org/events/information-for-ifac-authors
.

Please note that only PDF files complying with the IFAC style rules and PDF requirements are admissible,
including a maximum page length of 6 pages.


Papers should be submitted online via the PaperCept system before February 3, 2012. For submission instructions please see www.ifac.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl.

Notification of acceptance will be given by April 21, 2012, and the revised final papers must be submitted via the PaperCept system by June 11, 2012.

Accepted papers will be distributed at the symposium as pre-prints, and then published in electronic form on the IFAC-PapersOnLine  web site (www.IFAC-PapersOnLine.net). For full details of publication see "IFAC Copyright Policy".

Special issues based on papers from the symposium are planned for the journals associated with TC8.2:

  • Journal of Clinical Monitoring and Computing
  • ComputerMethods and Programmes in Biomedicine
  • Biomedical Signal Processing & Control



Invited sessions and speakers

Suggestions for invited sessions and speakers/papers are welcome and can be submitted via the PaperCept site www.ifac.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl. Invited sessions should be 4 or more papers presented as either oral presentations or posters. Those proposing invited sessions will receive an alphanumeric code which should be shared with those submitting manuscripts for the session. Submission of manuscripts for invited sessions will require this code, but otherwise will be peer reviewed as other manuscripts. Invited speakers approved by the programme committee will receive a subsidy for their expenses.


 

Poster Format

Maximum size of a poster:
90 cm width x 120 cm height, portrait format.
